Fernando is an admitted Attorney of the High Court of South Africa since 2009.  Fernando is an Argentinian of German descent and is fully bilingual in both English and Spanish.

Fernando specialises in general litigation and arbitration practice. Fernando is an Associate member of the Association of Arbitrators and obtained a Certificate of Specialisation in Construction Law in 2020 and is now currently completing his Fellowship Admission Course with the Association of Arbitrators.  Fernando also has an extensive Family Law practice.

Prior to co-founding SLKB, Fernando commenced his articles of clerkship in August 2007 in Randburg where he obtained vast experience in litigation. He was admitted as an Attorney in 2009 after which he joined a Johannesburg law firm as an associate where he continued to work as a litigation practitioner whilst extending his knowledge and experience in Corporate Commercial Law. Fernando later became the manager of the Litigation and Corporate Commercial department

Out of the office, Fernando spends his time with his family and is an avid sports fan. Fernando is an amateur beer brewer and distiller of spirits.
